How much a Telegram bot costs in 2026: price ranges

Seven kinds of bots with ranges from our price list: what the price includes, what pushes it up and how to pay less without losing what matters.

published updated 7 min readTelegram botpricesprice list

In short. The simplest bot — a business-card bot with a menu and a request form — costs from 3 000 ₴. A bot with a catalogue and orders is 7 000–15 000 ₴, one with online payment 12 000–30 000 ₴, one with an AI consultant 10 000–30 000 ₴. An exact figure can honestly be named only after a brief; a range — right now.

“How much does a bot cost?” is the question we get asked most. And the most common answer on the market is “it depends on the spec, send us the spec”. After that answer the client walks away. So this article does the opposite: the ranges from our price list, what they include, what they depend on and how not to overpay.

Seven kinds of bots and their ranges

We build seven typical bots. Each is its own row of the price list with a “from” price and a typical range; the timeline is indicative and starts counting after the start — that is, once the prepayment and the materials are in.

Kind of botRangeTimelineWhat the price depends on
Business-card / FAQ bot3 000–6 000 ₴from 1 daynumber of sections, request form, notifications to a group or a CRM
Booking bot6 000–14 000 ₴from 2 daysschedule, number of specialists, reminders, Google Calendar
Catalogue and orders bot7 000–15 000 ₴from 2 dayscatalogue size, cart, order statuses, admin panel
Bot with online payment12 000–30 000 ₴from 5 dayspayment provider, fiscal receipts, subscriptions, refunds
Bot integrated with a CRM, spreadsheets or an API5 000–20 000 ₴from 3 daysAPI complexity, number of systems, quality of documentation
AI bot — a consultant over a knowledge base10 000–30 000 ₴from 5 dayssize of the knowledge base, accuracy requirements, volume of dialogues
Broadcast module for an existing bot3 000–7 000 ₴from 1 daysegments, scheduling, statistics

The range of a bot with online payment is a base row — catalogue or booking — plus the “online payment” add-on: 5 000–15 000 ₴. Payment inside a bot is not a separate product; it is a plus on top of what the bot already does.

The entry point is 3 000 ₴: our minimum project. We do not go below it, but if the budget is smaller we will suggest how to make the task simpler.

What the price includes — and what it does not

A price-list row includes what it says: dialogue scenarios, a menu or a catalogue, a request form, notifications to the manager, a payment provider hooked up — depending on the kind. Plus what every project of ours includes: testing, deployment, a launch guide, 7 days of bug warranty after delivery and the source code after full payment — no exceptions.

Not included in any row:

  • hosting — a separate topic, settled before delivery: your server, or ours at $15 a month or $150 a year;
  • texts, photos and filling the catalogue — you prepare those;
  • payment provider fees and the merchant account — it is registered in your name;
  • the API bill of the AI model for an AI bot — invoiced by the provider, on your side;
  • promoting the bot and advertising.

The full scope is fixed in the spec, not in chat. No spec? We write it together, and that is already part of the project.

What pushes the price up

The range is about a typical task. This is what moves it to the top of the range or beyond:

FactorEffect
Urgent — faster than the minimum timeline+20–50 % depending on complexity
Admin panel+20–40 %
Online payment+5 000–15 000 ₴
Each external integration: CRM, 1C, Google, a payment provider, Nova Poshta+5 000–15 000 ₴
AI features+10 000–30 000 ₴ plus the API bill on your side
Each extra interface language+10–15 %
No spec — we write it togetherincluded in the project

A word on “like X, but ours”. It is not a discount: we do not copy other people's code. But the task gets clearer, so the estimate comes faster.

Why we never name a single number

A single figure before a brief is a guess. Two “delivery bots” can differ twofold: one has five items and cash on delivery, the other a hundred items, card payment, order statuses and an admin panel. So the formula is always the same: a range from the nearest price-list row → one factor the price depends on → one question that narrows the range.

That is exactly how our calculator works: it splits the description into modules, takes a price-list row for each and gives a range, not an “exact price”. The more details, the narrower the range. The exact amount and timeline are confirmed after the spec — and do not change unless the scope does.

How to pay less without losing what matters

The right answer to “too expensive” is a smaller scope, not a smaller price for the same scope. Three moves that work:

  1. The basic version. A minimum version usually fits into 3 000–5 000 ₴: the main scenario and nothing else. The rest comes in later stages.
  2. A simpler price-list row. Instead of a bot with payment — a catalogue bot with cash on delivery; instead of a Mini App — a bot. Payment or the app comes once the first orders are in.
  3. A paid mini-pilot from 5 000 ₴, credited towards the project: you see how the bot works on your clients and decide whether to grow it.

What there will not be: a discount “just because”, barter, or a promise to build it for the sum you name. Scope to fit the budget — yes; a price below the list — no.

How to pay and what you get

  • A 50 % prepayment before the start, the rest after delivery and acceptance.
  • Projects from 20 000 ₴ are split into stages paid 40 / 30 / 30: each stage is a demo and a payment. You see a working result before you pay for the next one.
  • Payment: card, IBAN or cryptocurrency — whichever suits you. A contract on request, an NDA on your template.
  • The clock starts when both the prepayment and the materials are in: no texts, access or logo — no clock.
  • After delivery — 7 days of free fixes. Then a support subscription from 3 000 ₴ a month, or ad-hoc work at 1 500 ₴ an hour.

FAQ: common questions about the price of a bot

How long does a bot take?

Guidelines from the price list: a business-card bot — from 1 day, booking — from 2 days, a catalogue — from 2 days, with online payment — from 5 days, with AI — from 5 days. The timeline counts from the prepayment and the materials; the exact one is set after the spec.

How much is an hour of your work?

1 500 ₴. But we bill by the hour only for work after the warranty and for fixes to other people's projects; a bot is a fixed price per project — more transparent for you.

Is the bot mine or yours?

Yours from day one: the bot is created in your account through BotFather, we only get the token to set it up. The source code — after full payment, no exceptions. Handing the bot to another team is possible at any time: the token and the code are yours.

Can we start small and grow it later?

Yes, and for most people that is the best scenario: a basic version within 3 000–5 000 ₴, then stage by stage. Each next stage is estimated separately, once it is clear what works.
